Richard E. Stiefler, M.D., is a graduate of Columbia University, New York, and the University of California at San Francisco School of Medicine. Dr. Stiefler completed his internship in Pediatrics at the University of Southern California-Los Angeles County Medical Center and his residency in Pediatrics at Mt. Zion Medical Center in San Francisco. He fulfilled his residency in Dermatology at the State University of New York-Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He was chief of Dermatopathology and of Pediatric Dermatology at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Dr. Stiefler is Board Certified in Dermatology and Dermatopathology. He was born and raised in Denver and has practiced in the Grand Valley since 1982. Dr. Stiefler’s interests outside of medicine include racquetball, reading and bicycling.
